Watch and listen. Choose the best answer in each case. The song is very famous. It was recorded by the well known Lous Amstrong and released as a single in 1968. Enjoy it!!!
Last Friday, three students from 4th of Primary came to my office and begged me to upload another song from the amazing group, The Beatles. I promised I will do it, so here we are, with the fifth post. The following song is "Eight days a week", another hit from these popular guys.
The song was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and released on the second album in1964, Beatles For Sale. Now you can follow the lyric and sing (not too loud, because the weather is fine in Pamplona...). The song, along with two others from the album "Baby's in Black" and "No Reply", was planned as a single release. In the end, it was released as a single only in the United States on 15 February 1965 becoming a number-one hit (their seventh).
Ooh I need your love babe, Guess you know it's true. Hope you need my love babe, Just like I need you,Ooo.
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me. I ain't got nothin' but love babe, Eight days a week.
Love you ev'ry day girl, Always on my mind. One thing I can say girl, Love you all the time, ooh
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me. I ain't got nothin' but love girl, Eight days a week.
Eight days a week I love you. Eight days a week Is not enough to show I care.

It's time for the last post about U2. And I'm going to finish this incredible group of music with another famous song, Still haven't found what I'm looking for. It is the second track from their 1987 album The Joshua Treeand was released as the album's second single in May 1987. The song was a hit, becoming the band's second consecutive number-one single on the US after With or without you.
EXTRA POINT: WHAT DOES IT MEAN THE TITLE OF THIS SONG?
Beautiful Day is another succesful song by the rock band U2. It is the first track from their 2000 album, All that you Can't Leave Behind, and it was released as the album's lead single. It's one of U2's biggest hits to date.
In 2001, the song won Three Grammy Awards for Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The group has played "Beautiful Day" at every one of their concerts since the song's 2001 live debut.
REMEMBER: listen and sing at the same time.
ADVICE: this song isn't easy to sing, because the rythm and the music is a bit fast, but once you have listened twice, I think that you can do it!
The song that I recommend now is "Stuck in a moment you can't get out of", from the album All That You Can't Leave Behind. This album is the tenth studio album that sold (vendió) over 12 million copies.
Remember: this exercise is very useful to practice your pronunciation. You must sing at the same time that you listen.

Now it's time to publish some new entries about a second music group: U2. They are an Irish rock band from the capital of Ireland, Dublin. Formed in 1976, the group consists of Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen (drums and percussion). They have released (lanzado) 12 studio albums and they have sold more than 150 million records worldwide. They have won 22 Grammy Awards (like the Oscars for films), more than any other band.
It's time to tell you: I'm really fond of this incredible group. One of their most popular song is "With or Without you", that you can play and sing it now. Enjoy it!
Let It Be is the 12th and final studio album released by the English rock band The Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970 by the band's Apple Records label shortly after the group's announced break-up. Paul McCartney wrote this song for his mother. Nowadays it's one of the most popular songs of this British group.
"Yesterday" is a song originally recorded by The Beatles for their 1965 album Help! According to Guinness World Records, "Yesterday" has the most cover versions of any song ever written. The song remains popular today with more than 1,600 recorded cover versions, the first hitting the United Kingdom top 10 three months after the release of Help!
According to biographers of McCartney and the Beatles, McCartney composed the entire melody in a dream one night.
Follow the lyric below and you can sing too, at the same time as Paul McCartney.
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.
Now it looks as though they're here to stay.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Suddenly,
I'm not half the man I used to be,
There's a shadow hanging over me,
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.
Why she had to go
I don't know she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong,
Now I long for yesterday.
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Why she had to go
I don't know she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong,
Now I long for yesterday.
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm.
From now on, we are going to learn something about famous British groups of music. We can't start this new entries without pointing to, probably, the most popular group of the 20th Century, THE BEATLES.
All the articles related to this new section are going to be written in green.
