2) MUSIC: YESTERDAY

"Yesterday" is a song originally recorded by The Beatles for their 1965 album Help! According to Guinness World Records, "Yesterday" has the most cover versions of any song ever written. The song remains popular today with more than 1,600 recorded cover versions, the first hitting the United Kingdom top 10 three months after the release of Help!

According to biographers of McCartney and the Beatles, McCartney composed the entire melody in a dream one night.

Follow the lyric below and you can sing too, at the same time as Paul McCartney.

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.
Now it looks as though they're here to stay.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly,

I'm not half the man I used to be,
There's a shadow hanging over me,
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why she had to go
I don't know she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong,
Now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.

Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Why she had to go

I don't know she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong,
Now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.

Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm.

Mr Carlos,
I listened the song with my mother and we sang 5 times ¡I can't follow the song in the 2 first times(in the 3 last times I could follow the song)! but my mother sang much better like me.
Can you put more exercises like this please?

Nicolás,
Of course, I will do... Don't worry if you can't follow the lyric the first two times... and it's normal that your mother sings much better than you (that's not difficult, je, je).
